In-person
Telehealth
Telehealth has proven to be an effective and convenient alternative to traditional in-person meetings. Maybe there's a comfortable space in your own home that you prefer to have these meetings in or maybe the convenience of telehealth will give you the opportunity to schedule meetings in the midst of busy days where you simply might not have the time or ability to travel to an office otherwise.
Meetings take place on an encrypted and HIPAA compliant therapy software called "Simple Practice." We can meet literally anywhere that you have internet access on nearly any device that can support video meetings.
In person meetings take place in the traditional setting that most of us come to expect when picturing mental health therapy. In person meetings are beneficial in that sharing an actual space can be drastically different than meeting virtually. Additionally, in-person meetings can offer a safe, consistent, and reliable space that can help cultivate the therapeutic process.
My office is located at "The Bungalow" just outside of Downtown St. Pete in the Kenwood area.

Client-centered therapy for adults and Veterans navigating life, trauma, and addiction.
Grief and Bereavement
Addiction Counseling
As we know, realizing and confirming that an issue is present is the first major step. Addiction comes in many forms and all of them have a way of rewiring our brains and bodies to convince us that this addiction, or behavior, is conducive to positive wellbeing.
Adjustment, Life and Fulfillment
Anxiety
Depression
Trauma
The loss of a loved one can be one of the most jarring experiences we face in life. Grief is a real, normal, natural, and essential process that we experience as a result. It's not easy, but you are never too far away from help.
Life doesn't come with a road map and it can feel daunting that our decisions can have real impacts on our and our loved ones lives. Sometimes it just flat out doesn't make sense. Support for navigating life’s challenges, transitions, and evolving goals—focusing on what matters most to you and aligning with who you are at every stage of life.
Anxiety can be paralyzing. A sense of overwhelm where our flight, fight, freeze response kicks into overdrive. Anxious feelings can arise from an multitude of environments, thoughts, or experiences. At the same time we can be 'wired' a bit more anxious than "normal." There is nothing wrong with you and you are not broken. We'll work towards understanding and finding a solution.
Life can feel grey. The window blinds don't open. Just getting out of bed or off the couch seems impossible or futile. In extreme cases, we can get stuck in hopelessness. Caring for ourselves takes a back seat. Perhaps it's one "thing" that gets us to this spot or perhaps is an persistent cloud over our head. Maybe if we could just find a solution to this melancholy, apathy, or sadness, we could feel like ourselves again.
Traumatic experiences, whether we recognize them as traumatic or not, have a way of completely dysregulating how we approach life, ourselves, and our loved ones. Getting back to equilibrium where feelings of safety and security feel like a far fetched dream.
